Joseph Szymczak leverages over four decades of multidisciplinary industry knowledge and subject matter expertise, across an array of business arenas, to effect positive change for our nation’s military, veterans, and citizens. Serving as the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Szymczak is credited with the development and execution of our company’s strategic vision, with a specialized focus on industry-leading and capacity-building services. His innovative skillset, coupled with his strong track record of Program Management, Strategic Planning, and Government Contracting, provides our leadership team with the capabilities to implement efficient and effective solutions for organizational and operational excellence. Prior to establishing WCTS, Mr. Szymczak held multiple executive level positions in the security and intelligence fields, with various companies such as American Systems, SAIC, General Dynamics, and others. Before joining the corporate world, Mr. Szymczak proudly served more than 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. Joe has established several channels of contribution to provide significant resources for schools, churches and other non-profit organizations, as well as opportunities for volunteer employees to donate their time serving local charities. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and visiting the beaches of North Carolina.

Natasha Welch carries over a decade of industry experience and in-depth knowledge to align our strategic goals with the professional growth and workplace fulfillment of an employee’s lifecycle. Serving as the Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Welch oversees all HR functions such as talent acquisition, learning and development, career progression, logistics, and recruiting. Responsible for creating and enforcing HR policies and programs, Mrs. Welch bridges management and employee relations while fostering positive working relationships. She additionally serves as the Assistant Security Officer, providing support for overall organizational security. Exemplifying industry standards and best practices, Mrs. Welch holds an internationally recognized Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Natasha is engaged in philanthropic work throughout Fredericksburg, VA, where she resides and actively volunteers for various non-profit organizations, shelters, and hospitals. She enjoys traveling with her husband and children, skiing, golfing, and the great outdoors.

Larry Miyamoto possesses thirty years of expansive expertise, which includes Program Management, Process Improvement, Knowledge Management, and Strategic Forecasting to develop long-term direction for our organization’s future growth and success. Serving as the Director of Strategy, Mr. Miyamoto oversees the identification of opportunities as well as possible risks or barriers, performs quantitative assessments, and constructs data-based projections based on current trends and future expectations. His subsequent recommendations, which indicate advancement opportunities and risk mitigation strategies, provide critical insight necessary to maintain the alignment of our organizational vision while ensuring the success of our company. Mr. Miyamoto holds globally recognized credentials in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma: Black Belt, and Knowledge Management (CKM). Prior to WCTS, Mr. Miyamoto proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, and is a retired Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer. He is credited for modernizing the capabilities of various organizations to execute their missions involving Counter-IED, CBRN, and Consequence Management operations. Larry is involved with various charitable organizations in Fredericksburg, VA, where he volunteers to give back and contribute to his community. He enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, working on machinery, and traveling with friends.

Kalene Hill, WCTS’ Director of Communications, spearheads the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies that support the company’s diverse range of services, enhance organizational visibility, foster stakeholder engagement, and drive business growth. With a focus on aligning WCTS’ messaging with its mission, core values, and broad expertise, Ms. Hill ensures that the company’s capabilities are effectively communicated – both internally and externally – to our valued employees and clients, trusted partners, and key stakeholders. Adept at leveraging digital platforms, public relations, and corporate storytelling, Ms. Hill strengthens brand identity and fosters meaningful connections across both public and private industry sectors. She excels at crafting impactful narratives that highlight WCTS’ contributions while enhancing brand visibility and engagement through innovative communication channels. Reflecting her expertise and commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, Ms. Hill holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) and is a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM). Her leadership blends analytical rigor with creative communication strategies, ensuring operational efficiency while supporting WCTS’ goals of delivering high-quality solutions across its multidisciplinary offerings. Outside of the office, Kalene is involved with community outreach programs and charitable organizations. She enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Kim Brewer utilizes nearly two decades of executive leadership experience, spanning across both private and public sectors, to optimize organizational systems, processes, and policies. Serving as the Director of Operations, Mrs. Brewer oversees the company’s daily business operations while aligning WCTS’ strategic goals and key initiatives. Concatenating her expertise in Program Management and Business Operations, Mrs. Brewer champions our ongoing goals of organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Prior to WCTS, Mrs. Brewer spent considerable time overseeing a wide variety of robust project portfolios in the Department of Defense. Mrs. Brewer holds an MBA with a concentration in Project Management. Kim is a valued member of her community in Fredericksburg, VA, volunteering through charitable organizations, local schools, and coaching for youth leagues. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, staying physically active, and relaxing at the beach.
