Training
What We Do:
We work with our customers to design efficient and effective training solutions to develop individual and collective capabilities. We develop courses and materials for delivery in classrooms, self-paced online and virtual instruction. We use Learning Management Systems to standardize processes. We conduct curriculum reviews to keep training relevant, current, and responsive to changes. We also maintain a cadre of qualified instructors that deliver seminars, classes, and virtual training nationwide.
We offer training in advanced subjects such as:
- Expeditionary Logistics such as load planning, embarkation, ordnance handling and movement control convoy planning/operations
- Crowd control, security, and protective measures
- Bombing Prevention Seminars for DHS’ National Policy for Countering IEDs
- All-hazards preparedness-response-recovery-mitigation
How We Do It:
We start with analyzing our customers’ requirements and current threats. WCTS has found that the Analysis – Design – Development – Implementation – Evaluation (ADDIE) Design Model is the most effective framework to develop courses and training materials. For true customization of a learning system, we include the Planning phase to develop project goals, objectives, budget, and schedules and also include a Maintenance phase to implement life cycle maintenance. These steps guide us to create/maintain an effective learning system.
